About Me
A Virtuous New Beginning is a non- profit organization Dedicated to assisting individual who have endured any form of neglect, abuse or hardship It will educate individuals as well as teach them skills needed to enhance and survive independently through a multitude of programs. AVNB was founded in 2008 and provides an array of services to assist with:
Developing Life skills
Career building and employment skills (assisting individuals with hands on experience and exposure to ones desired career. Assisting with job seeking and job skills)
Managing finance (Creating a budget, following through with the budget and Minimizing/managing credit/debt)
Linkage ( providing guidance to other services to provide overall support)
Coping skills (Dealing with abuse- learning from life experiences and living with it, Dealing with day to day obstacles to prevent individual from returning to the abuser.
Developing appropriate communication skills ( Learning to openly express feelings and concern, learning to improve self-esteem, Developing proper conversation skills and learning how to present oneself)
Education ( Pave the road to success- educating and introducing higher education, Funding- introducing individual to different types of funds for higher education and developing a scholarship fund )
