When it comes to fighting poverty, numbers are important. But what's really at stake are human beings. People who have been born into poverty or who are drowning in the consequences of one mistake.
That's why Robin Hood values the stories behind the numbers. Because at the end of the day, these stories are our stories. And we all have something to learn from them.
Robin Hood's work comes in many forms. We partner with more than 240 of the best poverty-fighting nonprofit organizations in New York City. We initiate and run projects when we see unmet community needs. And we created and operate a 9/11 Relief Fund. While there is great diversity among these programs, they all have one thing in common: They work.
